Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women's Empowerment

Established in 2014 by the Hon. Dr. Jean Augustine, the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment is committed to building the self-esteem and self-worth of young women and girls by positively influencing their outlook on life, broadening their horizons, and helping them to empower themselves.

Through mentorship, empowerment programs & civic engagement with opportunities that place special emphasis on personal development & experiential learning, the Jean Augustine Centre aims to enrich the lives of girls ages 7 to 17 years old.

We do this by offering in-person and online after-school programs, workshops, events, and camp programs to young women and girls both locally and across Canada.
